DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take off sets of plans for estimates (counting fixtures, measuring piping and ductwork).
- Filling out permits, plan approval forms, etc. in a timely manner.
- 2D & 3D HVAC & Plumbing CAD shop drawings & as built.
- Taking measurements of walls, steel, pipes & ductwork in the field and coordinating ductwork and piping around in
AutoCAD and/or REVIT. - Organize project documents and put together submittal binders.
- Interact with vendors, contractors, and customers on the phone and at jobsites.
- Take part in commercial sales visits and drafting sales proposals.
- Fabricate ductwork using sheet metal and install systems in the field.
- Perform all other duties assigned to this role.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering
- Experienced drawing in AutoCAD REVIT.
- Knowledgeable in HVAC system types, system selection, performance characteristics and applications of different
system types. - Ability to read and understand construction drawings of multiple trades.
- Ability to interact with field personnel, other trades and office staff and incorporate information into drawings.
- Knowledge of building code requirements.
- Knowledge of how to read blueprints.
